Eugene Gladston was active in the New York art scene and owned "Group East Studio" - a well known venue for experiential art. He also exhibited in various galleries as well as the "Brooklyn Museum" in its "Art & Technology event.

After arriving in New Hope in 1993, Gladston reopened his studio, continuing his foray into unconventional materials and surreal subjects.

His works now attempt to engage the viewer in a world beyond what we see thus provoking us to confront our inner feelings about the nature and meaning of art.
